A New Day
It's a new day, one just like the one yesterday, but different... it's a new one. I woke up this morning with sound of rain, and a song playing in my head, that I had heard in my dream, repeating numerous times. So much so, I thought some one was playing music around me, It's a song that I knew, however, I haven't heard it a very very long time. If this happens I play the song to listen to the words to see if anything stands out to me, and if I can learn something from it. I feel like everything has some sort of meaning, I didn't just manifest this for no reason. It's here, I will intentionally sit with it. I'm still pondering over the lyrics, and I have a few ideas, no lightbulb has went off yet, but there is a reoccurring theme in many of my dreams. And so I ponder...
The forecast wasn't calling for rain today, washing and hanging laundry was in store for today. I woke up to rain, and it hasn't showed much sign of clearing, so I will have to wait until it clears up. There is something I find calming, and please about hanging laundry outside to dry, that I will wait for a nice day to do it just so I am able to hang it outside. Maybe it's the intentional part. Each piece of clothing is carefully placed, and positioned in a certain fashion in order for the sun to shine it's ray's and dry the clothing that we use to keep us covered up, and warm in the winter. It's quite genius, if think of it.
I have pinto beans in the crockpot cooking, that I soaked overnight, so I can make some refried beans tonight. I'll cut up some tomatoes, and peppers, I grew in my garden to make some salsa to go with it. I'm finding that the simpler I live, the happier I am. I had a few years of fast pace living, and don't seem to resonate well with that lifestyle. Simple, intentional, and peaceful living is more my speed, I've come to realize.
It's fall here, however it's a little warm... Everyday I see a few more leaves changing. It's a beautiful thing to stop what your doing and just watch them. I gain much knowledge about life by just sitting and observing nature. Life is amazing if you pay attention...
