Success
The temperature has really dropped here, we had our first frost last night, and I started lit the first fire of the season in the woodstove, to take the chill off in here.
The Mums had a nice layer of frost on them, and by the time I finished hanging the laundry, it had melted into a heavy dew. You can't see it in the photo, however, the Mum's are so vibrant and full, I wanted to share a photo of them with you.
I'm having family over today, and I made a stuffing casserole, and a loaf of banana bread from Bananas that I had to use up. The aroma from the banana bread, and the woodstove made this place smell so cozy this morning.
The laundry is finished and out on the line. Did I mention it literally cost me pennies to my laundry! I make my own laundry soap, using the most basic of recipes. I make it in 5 gallon recycled bucket, and that lasts me about 3 or 4 months. I have well water, and line dry most of the time, making it extremly thrifty. Laundry is one of my favorite things to do, I find it very relaxing, and I absolutely adore the smell of fresh clean laundry. Ahhh, the smell of success.
May you find time to be successful today, doing whatever your definition is of success is.
