It's Cooling Down

Helloooooo, it's feeling very "fallish" here. I'm still able to put the laundry out on the line, so I'm very thankful. There is something lovely about having a drawer full of fresh clean clothes. It also feels really good to see about 20-30 off our electric bill. As it gets colder, and the weather starts to change it gets a little trickier to try and get them to dry. We have a woodstove to heat our home, so this winter I'll wash clothes at night and hang them in the house to dry. It's pretty simple, I was them at night before bed, hang them around the house. I get up in the morning and take them down, fold, sort, and put them away. All free!
                       REFLECTION



Yesterday,  I was at a meeting at friend's house and on the way home, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted this beautiful pond with the surrounded by woods. It was fascinating,  and looked " picture worthy". I stopped the car, and had to manuver around some branches and brush to get close enough to get a good shot.  Definitely worth it!

I have a Butternut squash cooking in the slow cooker, and it smells almost done. I am really enjoying this fall, the smells, sounds and colors are fantastic!

The Path Back To Home

On our way back home from our walk around the farm. I stopped to take a look around, and snapped a few photos. It's a beautiful little path with various saplings on either side. They are so vibrant this year, and it's nice just to get enjoy it. This time of year for the past 5 years, my life had been a full schedule. This year I'm slowing things down a bit, and taking time to enjoy the leaves.  I hope you get the chance to enjoy this seasons colors, they are fantastic!  Much love!
